it has been a hot minute since i’ve done a creative collaboration with people who inspire me + pull me out of the odd creative rut; this particular shoot with kirstie was exactly what i needed.
i had been wanting to do a styled bridal shoot so when i asked kirstie whether she was willing to slip into a wedding dress for me + she gave me a big fat yes, i did a mini squeal of delight. we headed to a BEAUTY of a roof garden in london which featured some amazing architecture as well as a sea of plants + greenery. kirstie did her thannng prancing around in full glam + we ended up with these bomb-diggity pics.
kirstie + i had so much fun bringing this shoot to life + embracing all that this location had to offer. i also had a blast playing with the shadows + light against a sleek black wall (the first few images below with the back background are officially my faves). but don’t be deceived by all the light!! – it may appear sunny, but it was a friggin brisky cold british morning (which is why kirstie rocks).
thanks a million, kirstie, for hanging out with me + completely killing this shoot! it was such a joy to work with another like-minded creative + to try something different.
