Geraldine + AJ finally tied the knot this autumn after dating for 10 years and both having to work on the frontline as nurses over the past few months due to COVID. I was so honoured to be able to witness and capture this wedding for these two amazing humans – love is certainly not cancelled and micro weddings can be just as beautiful with a simple civil ceremony!
They said their vows at a v intimate wedding ceremony with their 4 guests at Chelsea Old Town Hall. Even though the numbers were small, the wedding was big on emotions. After a couple group shots, we went on a little photo walk around Chelsea – this is surely a part of London which is bursting with colour, from wall murals, to front doors, to pubs! Our penultimate stop was the ‘LOVE’ pink door before reaching Chelsea Bridge by the river Thames. The autumnal leaves also brought out some beautiful earthy tones to the images!
Geraldine is a crazy plant lady like me (we talked about houseplants and all things botanical for a while lols) and hand-tied her own bouquet using dried florals like pampas grass and bunny tails!! She also wore this elegant, minimalist short wedding dress from ASOS.
These two will be having their postponed wedding celebrations in the Philippines next year<3 Big big congrats to Geraldine + AJ!!!
